Hi, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. This page was tagged as spam by two different editors before I deleted it, although I accept that there have been far worse examples in article space. Some issues you need to address.

  • Company information is inappropriate on a user page, which should be about you as a person. However good the article, it's bound to be deleted if it's not put up as an article. I see you have created a sandbox to work on it in, that's fine as long as it eventually migrates to a proper page.
  • I'm not convinced that it meets the notability guidelines. Although it has references, they do not help with establishing any facts about the business. How many employees and offices? What roughly is the turnover/profit. The information given is skewed towards the product.
  • Evidence for claimed global reach - needs referencing.
  • very minor formatting point "Acquisition and Leadership" shouldn't have cap for "leadership
  • The Calgary ref actually is pretty good, but I think its findings, since they specifically looked at Rapport, need to be clearly explained in the text. Reviewers checking new articles won't normally check the refs, they will just see the apparently spammy para about outputs

On looking again, it's actually a better page than the tagging editors and I thought. Just polish it a bit, put iin some company, rather than just product, stuff, and get it out of user space onto an article page Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:00, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Rapport Empowered Education

edit

A tag has been placed on Rapport Empowered Education requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. andy (talk) 22:01, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Rapport leadership international

edit

The article Rapport leadership international has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable per WP:COMPANY

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MuffledThud (talk) 20:48, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
