This was hilarious! I mean, a lot has been done with the Medusa mythos. This really is an original concept. I think the petrification process is faster. I love this animation too. Everything's so exaggerated.

Those are some small eyes. I guess it would be easy to keep them open. You even do a variant with her being turned to stone herself. Your art style is extremely easy to recognize. You know your mythology.
