- see commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:Roza Shanina's diary.jpg; I'm unclear if Russia had wartime extensions in place or not in 1996; if so, then it is unfree in the US until 2061. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 01:41, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Both of these images are tagged {{PD-self}} and uploaded by the same user, but the file description pages say that the author of the first image is Quang Hieu Vu and the author of the second is Linhao Xu. —Bkell (talk) 07:21, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license. Mspraveen (talk) 12:32, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- The shield logo is taken from the medieval coat of arms of the Cokayne family. I believed the use of this is exempt from copyright under Article 6 'quinquies' B(II) of the Paris Convention 1979. If the infringement is considered in reference to the ball itself then this was made and painted by John Harrison of Ashbourne. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adrian Roebuck (talk • contribs) 06:25, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Kate Gleason.tif (delete | talk | history | logs).
- "Original publication: unknown" and "not from a published source" may suggest that this is an unpublished photo. If so, the copyright expires 70 years after the death of the photographer or 120 years after the photo was taken. Even if published during the lifetime of the subject of the photo, it might still be copyrighted as the person died in 1933. No evidence that the photo is in the public domain. - File:Caleb bragg 1914.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Insufficiently sourced: source only given as a three-letter abbreviation ("LOC"). No evidence of publication. A search for "Caleb Bragg" at the "www.three-letter abbreviation.gov" website doesn't bring up any information about this photo. Stefan2 (talk) 17:54, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
