I just wanted to say that today is your Queen's birthday. *insert confetti throw here* and because it is my birthday, I am taking it easy today. I played some video games, named some cards and went out to dinner and rotted in my bed eating cheesecake lol it's a very uneventful birthday but in a few days, I will be leaving to attend my local convention which should be more exciting. Yes, I will be cosplaying and maybe I might show some pictures. I will be cosplaying as Aerith Gainsborough from FF7 and fem!Muzan Kibutsuji from Kimetsu no Yaiba. My best friend will be Nezuko so this will be very fun to torment her... mwahahaha and possibly splurge a bit since I need a vacation from work. Anyway, aside from convention prep, I am taking it easy and trying to get cards submitted for this week and next week ahead so I don't have to worry. As for plans regarding the order, I will work on your suggestion lists (i'm working on them, I promise I am!) and I have plans for an upcoming collection that may go live soon once I am personally satisfied with the cards. November editions will be decided soon and I will make new banners soon. For other hobbies, I have gotten back into writing and started reworking a story I have posted on my wattpad and quotev accounts. If you are interested in reading my works, please let me know. I will gladly be happy to share with you. Tonight's plans will be working on some requests, rehost some cards and basic tidy up around the club. I appreciate you all for supporting me and for also sending me birthday wishes and gifts. Thank you so much for all the love. Maybe being 30 won't be so bad... when I got people like you. <3 p.s - by the way, don't be afraid to comment here.  β ππππππππ πΉππ, πΈπΆπΈπΊ β π·:πΉπ· ππ π΄ππ π©β‘πͺ Hello darlings~ Well, here I am~ did you all have a good weekend? Mine was fun but honestly, I have to say I was a little disappointed this year. I did get a nice haul though, some prints and a lot of keychains (I'm a keychain hoarder because I love making my keys a death weapon LOL) and I had fun cosplaying... for the most part. The first day I went, I was Aerith Gainsbourough and I got some great photos with other FFVII characters such as Tifa, Cloud and even Daddy Sephiroth and we did the iconic scene that made us all cry. TwT I even met Aerith's VA, Briana White, and she signed my Aerith print and even took a selfie with me as Aerith. The only downside I can say about that is they aren't cheap anymore. It cost me $70 just for an autograph and a selfie. I miss the days when autographs and selfies were for free but not in this society anymore... I met a friend and she was so sweet. I tried to find her again but no dice. All in all, it was a fun day and I thought Saturday might be even more fun... The second day though... oh lord. My body felt the pain from walking around. I am so sore LOL and a hot bath sounds fabulous right now... but for the second day, which was Saturday, I was cosplaying Lady Muzan from Kimetsu no Yaiba. I barely got any pictures because I think a lot of people didn't recognize me. It felt nice but at the same time, I had to wear slit pupil contacts for 8 hours so I felt like my effort was wasted... but I was probably the only Muzan there LOL which I liked not going to lie. I did see Kokushibo or Upper Moon One and I was happy. It almost makes me feel like not many people like cosplaying villains which is why I didn't take many photos from this year because it was mainly KnY, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail and not many indie or cosplays that stood out to me. All in all, I was disappointed but I did get to talk to some awesome people. So perhaps it wasn't a waste? I do want to cosplay more often though and maybe look into other conventions. I want to do some christmas cosplays so I might look into that. If you would like to see me as Aerith and Lady Muzan, shoot me a discord message. I put in a LOT of work for both of them and I'd love to share them. As for today, I'm taking it easy and recovering. Pro-con depression may hit but I am not sure. Right now, I am having some sippies to try and relax. More editions and requests will be worked on as I recover. I apologize for the wait. Today's entry may be relatively short but I felt the need to let you all know my status as well as wellbeing. For the past few days, I have been having on and off fevers, chills and a sore throat that just doesn't want to go away. Prince Pepper has been by my side during this time, both being my agent of chaos as well as my bedside angel using his purrs to help relax me and giving me affection in his own way of saying, "feel better mom." Aside from that, I have named cards and will possibly do a massive delivery at the end of this month for card editions through October-November. Once I don't hate everything I make, requests will be handled and sunday special edition as well as kimetsu no yaiba anime edition will be released soon. I have been asked about posting a past cards edition and maybe I might cook something, I haven't decided yet. I have been focusing on trying to reignite one of my other passions which is writing. I've always wanted to be a writer so I made a blog for all my writings to be stored. I will try to update it as often as I can but like my edits, please be patient with me. Juggling being sick, work, holidays and my hobbies can be a little too much for me. Yesterday, I was fired from my job and since it is so close to the holidays, I feel like I was screwed big time by my employer. Now I have to find a new job in such a short time and if there is one thing Rin hates, it's job hunting. e.e the process is such a pain and so tedious. Ughhh. It also doesn't help that I am still sick and it seems like it's only getting worse since I keep getting on and off fevers and a sore throat from Hell. -.- Anyway, since now a job is out of the equation, I will try to edit more often. Due to me being at my friend's last weekend, I forgot about simp or skip >.> so this upcoming sunday, it will be back on track with week 58. Since losing my job back in December, I have been really and I mean, really depressed. I barely want to do anything hobby related. ^^;; I am feeling really discouraged with my job hunt... since a lot of them require something I don't have but in the process of getting. The only hobby I have really been doing is gaming and reading my books lol I hope you all can forgive me for this... I hate going on hiatuses. For those with upcoming birthdays, I did not forget about you. Your gifts might be delayed so I hope you can forgive me. I hope you all have amazing birthdays regardless <3 So um, yeah. That's it. I also have no job so things have been stressful. I saw the doctor yesterday and got some antibiotics so let's hope I recover soon. Since I have been mostly sleeping, I haven't been doing any hobbies such as reading, gaming or editing. It sucks LOL this whole season sucks. I will name cards when I can and try to get them out at the end of this month but please be patient. simp or skip will resume this weekend since I was too sick to post it last sunday.
