does the PoseMod also have to be updated? sorry genuinely don't know if it's just me having problems or something else

If you want to use the alternate method, yes, you need the latest PoseMod.
for some reason when I try to install the mod and Posemod, the game runs and i can activate the regular mod through the locker room but it doesnt show up in the easer egg or debug menu, did i do something wrong in insalling it?

It won't show in the easter egg menu but it will still work if you try to activate it.

If you mean instruction for PoseMod, it also has a install instructions file called "How to install Posemod".
