I have this Motherboard for a couple of weeks now. no complaints. more than what I need for everyday usage and more. Just a basic build with a ryzen 5 7600 and a 4070 ti aorus master. so far so good.
NIce! I am glad to hear that, at least I am right about the top M.2 and PCIe being enough for the mid range user. Do you or will you use the bottom PCIe gen 3 slots?
@RealMelTan probably not. and for my ssd i used the second slot and will add another on the third. gpu will be the only thing on the pcie so it wont bottleneck. at least for the motherboard design.
@@miguelnieto4491 Yes thats the best config u can have without hurting any performance. Just curious, how much space on the board does the 4070 ti occupy?
Nice Gizmo! I do agree that it is a nice clean black board. Gigabyte does a pretty good job keeping their design scheme and colours uniform, which I like. What other features do you like on this board?
I am just looking at this motherboard. Came to your video so i could see what the wifi 7 antenna looked like and as reported by somebody elses amazon review... the picture advertised with the antenna is different to what you get.
@@RealMelTanpretty much! Specially for that price the ASUS ROG STRIX B850-F GAMING WiFi would be my 2nd but it's more expensive without much more and I don't like the bling bling
Would you recommend this for a 5090 and 9800x3d build? I am considering this board or a Asrock B850 PRO RS. Mostly interested in gaming with maybe a bit of overclocking (probably won't) and aesthetics (white build). I'll probably only use one SSD card and a external USB hub rather than a ton of USB ports at the back of my case.
Asrock has had issues with failing 9800x3d's recently, (40ish total), so keep that in mind. This one is also on my shortlist for the same setup (5090+9800x3d). One thing I like about this and MSI is that they list which usb ports are connected to the cpu vs chipset either in the block diagram or explicitly in the IO section.
I am not familiar with the Asorck line of boards. But this B850 Aorus Elite, if you want the white one, seems like a good match for what you want. And the ARGB is minimal on a board like this (if you care about that). But that said, I still generally prefer MSI and ASUS BIOS, compared to Gigabytes. The BIOS in this new generation of Gigabyte is better, but still can be better. How about the MSI B850 Edge Ti for white? Or the B850 Pro Ice
Hello sir, from your opinion, which one is better between B850 AORUS Elite WIFI 7 and ROG Strix B850-A? Could you please help me to decide. Budget is not a deal here
This is a very hard fight. It seems like the B850-A has 1 more SSD slot than the B850 Elite. The B850-A also has higher spec PCIe 4 slots (though it shares with the M.2) than the B850 Aorus. So in this case, they are on par. I think there is more ARGB on the B850-A. I think in this case, the B850-A seems better, at least ASUS BIOS, IMO is still better than Gigabytes.

Hi Lara, this build looks ok. May I ask which Cooler are you gonna get for your CPU? I am not familiar with the NZXT line of PSUs. But I feel brands like Seasonic do better for power supplies. Perhaps you can also consider getting that?
Hi Ican, there is no need in theory. Because both CPUs come out at the same time. But it is also good to have the newer BIOS for system stability and compatibility. And if you want to use the next gen Ryzen 9000. Yes.
Do you like this board ? Or prefer a white one: ruclips.net/video/vwM0kiL6B_8/видео.html
Thanks for the lively review Mel, nicely done. keep it up 😉
Thank you Kleo Yan! I do my best. Hope you learnt something?

Did you have any problems with installing the drivers for the wifi
@@user-si7gh3cc4n no. not at all. i just ran the gigabyte control center and automatically installed all the drivers.
I just got this board recently to upgrade my PC! It’s one of the cleanest design I’ve seen.

smahed the like answerd all i need to know ; nice black thingy withbout much shine
hahahaha thank you man for the quick support and smash!
It is a really a nice black board without much ARGB. Is this what you wanted?

R5 7500f pair with thise one a good combo? Or too much?
IMO, i think it is too much. How often do you wish to change your board?
I think you can save more money going with a B650 instead :)
@@RealMelTani rarely change mobo unless theres issues. Already purchased the b850 since the b650 is almost the same price haha

That's great! How much RAM and how many SSDs do you have?
I have the ice good board but i think need lot of updates to run perfect
Yes i agree. Perhaps you can share your opinions on the board? I can share with the Gigabyte team ;)
do i really need to update the bios like the b650 mobo if i run 7800x3d?

Helps me do i have to install 3 m.2 due to thermal paste on it but i have one m.2 gen4 1tb ssd can i use it only one ssd
Hi Antan, you do not have to install 3 M.2 SSDs. Just install the one 1TB that you have.
