That bench was amazing. Andre Iguoadala, Shaun Livingston,Javale Mcagee, David West, Matt Barnes, Ian Clark, and Zaza Pachulia
Zaza was definitely a stand out. He had great chemistry with the splash bros.

Underrated - have you seen him play the last two and a half years? He is trash af man. + He got ejected and banned for games so often man. Got McGee looking like a star. This team was scary. Fire power from everywhere. There was no weakness to this team.
They were such a cheat code, they didn't even have their head coach for a majority of these playoffs and still swept thru with ease 😭

I remember watching a couple games of the Warriors in this play-off run with my dad. Even though they lost in the second round me and my dad became fans and started following them. First game we watched the arena seemed so electrified as Curry led the ball roll down the court ofter tip-off, the camera zoomed out and all you could see was gold and fans going crazy, I remember this like it was yesterday. The rest is history, perfect time to become a Warriors fan.

The Lakers 2001 run was still more impressive to me. The Warriors first round matchup was against a 41 win team and their second matchup was against the Jazz led by Gordon Hayward… The Warriors beat 3 all nba players that run … the Lakers beat 5 all nba players , the mvp, the defensive player of the year, the sixth man of the year and the coach of the year all during their run
notice how the warriors have size back then compared to today where their tallest player is only 6'9
(yes they have post who is 7ft but he doesn't even get minutes)
speaking of which, they also have legitimate centers that can protect the paint and be a lob threat at all times
even the bench is deadly during those dynasty years

Nobody can convince me otherwise that the warriors didn’t sell game 3 just to win the finals at home.
This has got to be the best roster ever put together. Complete with everything from sharpshooters, defense prowess, speed. McGee, Iguodala, Dray, Klay, KD, Steph. Really should've been 16-0 if not for Silver interfering. What a fun season it was. Trashing with so much class and hype.

As a diehard Dubs fan, the Spurs really gave us issues in that first game. If Kawhi didnt step on Zaza's foot, it would have been a lot closer. But...we also would have gone back to back to back if injuries were off
